How Spirit Guides Help

The Psychic Life

Photo by David Hofmann on Unsplash — It might not have much to do with my story, but one of the guides just suggested I put ballerina into the Unsplash search box.

When I learned how to channel, the books I found to read concentrated on the spiritual and metaphysical aspects of the world. They were our guides telling us things.

I remember one of my favorites was Emmanuel. I don’t know if anybody is channeling him now because his channel, Pat Rodegast, passed in 2012. I met her once, though. She signed a copy of one of her books for me. I was a relatively new channel in those days, but I hadn’t said anything about that to her. She considered what she would write in my book and said, “I don’t know why he had me say this, but here.” She handed me the book, and the inscription was, “We meet again.” If that is not gratifying to hear, I don’t know what is.

I remember feeling a lightbulb go off in my head when Emmanuel said in one of his books, “Dying is like waking up from a nap.”

Anyway, the teachers are all there to talk to you. I talk to many of them, and I’ve always loved talking to Emmanuel.

In the early years of my career as a channel, I was under the impression that there was one and only one spirit guide per human being. I mean, we all have one. Think of them as guardian angels. They sort of trade-off duties the older you get. Or, at least, they treat you differently.
