The reason why I don’t usually begin a piece with the fact that I am a channel and I talk to dead people is that sometimes I think it is a little off-putting. Like the person reading might be a Republican from the South who goes to church every Sunday and takes offense that somebody writing could even come closer to God than they can. Hey, I speak to dead people. Not necessarily to God, though when you do, you better believe that is God and just not some random spirit walking by. Somehow, and I only say this from experience, you will know. I don’t know what your reaction will be. I hope you are not driving when it happens to you. I don’t say if, because I believe with all my heart you’re going to be talking to somebody in Spirit some day and realize, holy mother of God, you’re talking to the head honcho.
Am I irreverent? Yes, undoubtedly. Was I before? No, not at all. Why? Well, it’s like meeting movie stars. You’re in awe of your favorite movie star. No way would they ever deign to talk to you, and yet, were you to meet one and begin talking to them, I’m betting they would turn out to be everyday people to you. I can’t say for sure, but I’m just imagining here. I would imagine God would be like that, too.
