When Is It Time to Clean Up?
When The Cat Can’t Walk Across My Desk
In attempting to write intriguing titles that are not misleading, even though I sometimes change tacks in the middle of an article which, it appears is not much appreciated by some people, I will reveal the cue I get where I need to clean up.

Now, I am retired. I’ve got a new phone system that, when it is working, takes messages and alerts me as to who is on the phone. I ignore all but my husband’s calls and those I get from my friend Pam. Other than that, everybody can get in line and wait. We have a laundry service that, if I don’t get around to it, will kick in. My husband has offered to do the shopping, and I can make large batches of soup.
